Heart Healthy Eating

Heart disease is the number 1 killer and stroke is the number 3 killer of American women and men. But healthy eating habits and regular physical activity can help lower your risk of heart disease and stroke. Try eating foods low in saturated fats, trans fats, and cholesterol. Also try to get at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity each week, with muscle-strengthening activities on 2 days of each week.

Learn more about heart healthy eating.
