Description: The ¡Adelante! 5K Walk and Run, Community Expo and Kids ½ mile Fun Run on Sunday May 12, 2013 is a community building celebration of National Women’s Health Week. The event will be co-ed and open to men, women and families. This project is funded in part by the Office on Women’s Health and will also include a training program for women who consider Clínica Tepeyac their medical home and women who live in the Globeville/Swansea/Elyria neighborhoods. Though we are celebrating women’s health, our goal is to increase healthy living behaviors for women who attend our clinic and increase opportunities for active living in the Globeville/Swansea/Elyria neighborhoods. This is a public event and is open to the general public. Fee: $20 entry fee for 5K and $5 entry fee for kids race Event activity/topic: Physical activity and fitness
