This report describes many of the activities and accomplishments of the National Cancer Institute's research programs in 2005 and 2006, addressing cancers specific to or primarily affecting women or those cancers with high incidence or mortality among women. Cancers included are breast, cervical, endometrial, ovarian, lung, and colorectal cancers, as well as AIDS-associated malignancies.
