Mission Statement

The vision of BlazeSports America is to be the standard of excellence and leading provider of sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle programs for children and adults with physical disability. BlazeSports seeks to ensure that the quality, quantity, diversity and availability of these activities are equivalent to those available to persons without disability. Through BlazeSports’ community-based model, children learn to embrace their individuality and identify their unique capabilities; youth learn leadership and strategies for success; and adults develop a shared sense of community and personal empowerment. BlazeSports America programs, events, and services promote equality, create visibility, help reduce health disparities, and encourage independence and achievement within the context of sport, inclusive recreation and healthy lifestyles.
