Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention (LEAP) Program, DPSP, BPHC
Mission Statement
The LEAP mission is to reduce the incidence of lower extremity amputations by educating primary care providers and patients about the use of the LEAP filament to screen for loss of protective sensation in the feet, a common complication of diabetes.
