Mission Statement

The Epilepsy Foundation (formerly the Epilepsy Foundation of America)® is the national organization that works for people affected by seizures through research, education, advocacy and service.   We are an organization of volunteers committed to the prevention and cure of epilepsy and a positive quality of life for everyone who lives with seizure disorders. Our current strategic goals include broadening and strengthening of research, providing individuals and families with easy access to reliable information, and assuring access to appropriate medical care for those affected by seizures.
