Mission Statement

The National Aging Information Center (NAIC), a service of the Administration on Aging (AoA), is the central source for a wide variety of program- and policy-related materials, demographic, and other statistical data on health, economic, and social status of older Americans. NAIC's mission is to improve the ability of the Nation to successfully meet the needs of an aging society through collecting, developing, and disseminating information about current approaches to policy and practice. NAIC was established under the Older American's Act and opened in September 1995 to serve the public.
