Easy Meatballs in Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 6- to 30-oz jar low-sodium spaghetti sauce

Directions

Combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, parsley, garlic, and pepper, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into twelve 1 1/2-inch meatballs.

Brown the meatballs in a large nonstick skillet for 6 - 8 minutes, turning occasionally. Add the spaghetti sauce and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
