Asthma



Asthma affects more than 10 million adult women. People with asthma tend to be at increased risk of osteoporosis, which also is a health concern of older women. Taking menopausal hormone therapy may increase the risk of asthma among postmenopausal women. Asthma often begins in older adulthood.
